Combine Anita's Sticky Ribbon and Whispers Words rubber stamps to make this striking Sunset card.
Step by Step
1. Cut a piece of spare card to 9cm wide by 7.3cm high. Apply a selection of 11cm long pieces of coloured yellow, orange and green ribbons to the card. Fold the ends of the ribbon behind for a neat finish. Refer to the photograph for colour placement ideas. Attach towards the top of the card blank
2. Cut a semi circle of spare card. Apply a generous layer of the gold pigment ink and apply a layer of gold embossing powder. Heat using the heat tool. Stick to the ribbon panel to represent the sun. Cut out three small bird shapes from black card, add to the ribbon panel
3. Stamp and emboss the ‘Wonderful’ Whispers Words stamp using the gold ink and powder. Apply a short border sticker at either end. Trim to approximately 11cm by 2.75cm. Mount on the spare yellow card, trim to leave a 0.5cm yellow border. Stick to the card below the ‘Sunset’ leaving a gap of about 2cm
4. Apply a gold Happy Birthday outline sticker to the bottom section of the card
5. Apply a sunflower outline sticker to some spare yellow card. Swipe the whispers inkpad over some scrap acetate or plastic. Pick up some of the ink using a paintbrush and ‘paint’ the centre of the sunflowers. Trim neatly around the flowers. Stick to the card either side of the Happy Birthday sticker
