Create this spooky page using Doodlebug cardstock, papers, jewels and stickers!
Step by Step
1. From the Limeade Sugar Coated cardstock draw (on the reverse) a zig zag pattern along the 12” length, cut out and stick to the bottom of the Beetle Black Cardstock with tacky glue. Adhere a length of Anita’s Craft Ribbon across the page just above the Limeade zig zags.
2. Cut a 9cm piece of the Tangerine Swiss Dot paper and just before you stick to the main page, glue a 12” length of the white paper frills to the bottom edge, then stick the whole piece to the Beetle black cardstock above the ribbon, showing about 1cm of the black cardstock in between.
3. Cut a 5cm piece of Core’dinations Purple Majesty and stick on top of the Tangerine Swiss Dot piece approximately 1cm from the top edge.
4. Glue another strip of Limeade Sugar Coated cardstock, 2cm wide, just above the top of the Tangerine Swiss Dot paper, and glue another length of white paper frills just above it.
5. Draw large scallops on the reverse of the Tangerine Sugar Coated cardstock, as before with the Limeade zig zag strip, cut out and glue above the white paper frills, adding another length of the ribbon across the page and over the bottom edge of the Tangerine cardstock.
6. Sand the edges of the photo with the BasicGrey Precision Tool Set and stick to the left side of your page.
7. Add the title with the Tangerine Limeade and Lily White Simply Sweet Stickers and use the Jewels for the ‘dot, dot, dot’.
8. With tacky glue place pairs of the wiggly eyes onto the Beetle Black cardstock and also onto the photo and at each of the ‘O’s in ‘BOO’.
9. To make the bats – using scraps of black cardstock, cut a 3cm square and fold in half diagonally. Cut from the tip of each triangle (from the fold line) toward the middle. Fold back the inside flaps to create the ears and add wiggly eyes. Glue to your page.
10. To make the pumpkin - draw 3 oval shapes from the Tangerine Sugar Coated cardstock and ink edges with the Black chalk eye. Using 3D foam pads place two of the ovals on your page slightly overlapping each other. Add 3D foam pads to the third and place centrally on top. Cut a piece of the Limeade cardstock for the stalk.
11. Write journalling onto strips of white cardstock, ink the edges and stick using more 3D foam pads.
